Found Magazine has been praised by publications as diverse as Spin, GQ, The New Yorker, The Los Angeles Times and U.S. News &anp; World Report. Its also been featured on the Discovery Channel. Play Magazine described Davy Rothbart as: “A modern archeologist who chronicles our passions and pettiness in our discarded lists and letters.” The San Francisco Chronicle said: “Found…is a voyeur’s dream. …Some of the stuff is hilarious, some of it achingly sad or pathetic, but nothing is less than human.”

Join us on Saturday, August 19, for Davy Rothbart’s presentation based on material collected since the magazine debuted in June 2001, and some very humorous encounters he’s had as he traveled the country promoting the project and appearing on morning TV talk shows. Rothbart is also a regular contributor to National Public Radio’s This American Life, a documentary filmmaker and the author of the story collection The Lone Surfer of Montana, Kansas.
